What's In My Carry On Bag?

I tried to take pictures outside but the sun went in just as I took them. So they're darker than I wanted but oh well

So tomorrow (or today, depending on when I post this), I am going to Greece for my summer holiday and I AM SO EXCITED. I wanted to do some travel themed posts and in particular the 'what's in my travel bag' because its fun and easy to write as I have a lot to do.

I am taking 4 of the 5 books I plan to read this summer (post here) but I'm only taking Anna and the French Kiss and If I Stay in my hand luggage. I'm also taking Company magazine as a bit more reading material, and I'll probably buy a few more magazines at the airport.
I've also packed my beloved notebook for if inspiration for anything strikes at any moment or if I want to write anything down. I pretty much take it everywhere with me so its an essential.
I've also thrown in a jumper because aeroplanes are often super air-conditioned to the point of very cold. I might take my hoodie instead of this jumper, I'm not sure yet.
For the travel minis, I haven't included any shampoo/conditioner etc because that's going in my suitcase, but I have chosen a mini face sun cream which is good for under makeup because I hate
putting the oily ones under my makeup, it goes all eugh and this was super cheap. I also have some tissues, a mini deodorant and blister plasters as well as a hand cream mini and a hairbrush (but I forgot to put the last two in the pictures)
I taking my sunglasses for the sunshine when I get there as well as my purse so I can buy some pointless souvenirs whilst I'm there (everyone does it), and then my passport cover, which currently doesn't have my passport in but it shall. That is also from Cath Kidston.
Finally I'm taking my phone and my ipod and headphones, so I can listen to some music. I'm a bit obsessed with the new Coldplay album at the moment, as well as the usual Imagine Dragons and The1975. I need to spice up my music, its getting repetitive :)

The bag I'm taking is this mah-hue-sive Cath Kidston tote bag which I got as a gift and I am in lovvvvee with. It's so summery and pretty and holds so much, its like a tardis. Lots of room to stash snacks at the airport ^_^

I hope you all have wonderful holidays if you're going away or even if your not I hope you have a relaxing break and that the sun stays out where you live :)

What are your travel essentials?
Lots Of Love

  2. I love your bag, the floral pattern is gorgeous! Everything Cath Kidston is just stunning. I love these types of posts, I just did one on my blog recently, as I am going to the west of Ireland on Saturday which isn't as sunny as Greece but nice all the same. Have a great holiday :D

  3. Have fun in Greeeeeece!!! I love it when people do posts like this. For some reason, I enjoy seeing what people keep in their travel bags and purses. Your travel bag contents look nearly the exact same as mine with books, magazines, phone, earbuds, ipod, sunglasses, and a sweatshirt or sweater (I think those are what you guys call a jumper....).
Although it would be a good idea for me to throw in some deodorant and sunscreen too.
Personally, I also add some candy in my bag at the last minute because what's a trip without a good old Hersheys bar or package of Smarties? Not sure if you know what those are because you live in the UK, right? Oh well.

    1. Thankyou! I never usually eat that much on planes but I've never been on a flight longer than 4 hours so I think if I went on a longer one, I would pack some food as well. I love Smarties but I've never tried Hersheys as its quite hard to get hold of the UK :) If I see it I will have to pick some up :) Thankyou for your lovely comment July xox

  4. Nice blog! I love your bag and I am also struggling on the music front. I often find myself over listening to the songs I like and ending up getting a bit bored of the songs. By the way, I hope you haven't already done this, but I nominated you for the Liebster Award. Go here to find out about it and your questions: http://missmuggs.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/liebster-award_3.html
