Rainbow Spines Book Tag

So I realised I haven't done a book post in about 6 months, which is appalling considering reading is one of the things I love most in life. But I saw this tag and I thought it was little different to other book reviews so I decided on doing it. Plus I managed to get so good photos in the nice weather.
Red - Heist Society by Ally Carter is one of my favourite books of all time. The characters are likable and different, the plot is amazing with twist and turns and the robbery scenario is so clever and unexpected I would never have guessed it. Love this.
Orange - The Hunger Games: Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins is a book I know most people didn't enjoy but I quite liked the conclusion to the trilogy. I agree the first was by far the best but I think this was a good ending which tied up everything well and the series as a whole is amazing.
Yellow - Innocent by Anne Cassidy is a thought-provoking story of betrayal and love and I think it should get more credit. I loved how it all tied up at the end.
Green - The Star Of Kazan by Eva Ibbotson is a beautiful,under-rated tale of mystery, love and finding yourself. Annika is such a innocent, lovable character and you feel like you are living the troubles and happiness with her.
Blue - The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. This book is ridiculous. It is probably the most heart-warming yet heart-breaking and also best ever, books I have ever read. This book made me laugh and cry and shows you how special life is. Must. Read.
Indigo - Insurgent by Veronica Roth. I am a huge, huge Divergent fan so I kind of had to include one of them. This book has so much drama and anticipation and the last line is just insane. I was dying at the end and I am desperate for the final book.
Violet - Amy Green Summer Secrets by Sarah Web is a wonderful, easy going read which I absolutely love and I think is great in the summer. Amy and Clover are lovely and very relatable and I think this is a great light-hearted book everyone will enjoy.

I hope you enjoy this post. I loved writing it and I think I might do a few more book posts every couple of months. Have you read any of these? What do you think of them? Are there any you would add to my rainbow book spines?

    1. The green (The Star Of Kazan) is about Annika, a orphan, who has always wondered about her past. One day, out of the blue, a rich women comes to her house, claiming to be her long lost mother. But there is more to this women than she at first thought. This books hard to explain without giving important bits away but I definatly recommend it. The violet ( Amy Green Summer Secrets) is part of the Amy Green series and in this one Amy goes away on a family holiday which she hates. But a unexpected surprise from her teen agony aunt, Clover, changes her summer dramatically, making it a whole lot better, but there are still dilemmas. This book is a very light hearted, sweet read so its great if you don't want anything to intense. Sorry for the long comment but I hope this helped xo

    2. Thanks so much for the long explanations! It helps me decide if I want to get the books or not. :)

The Amy Green Summer Secrets, do you recommend beginners start at the beginning of the series or is this book good as a stand alone book? XO

    3. You can read it stand alone, it will make sense, but i would recommend starting the series at the beginning. The first is called Boy Trouble, then Summer Secrets and there is one after that too xox
