Easter By The Seaside

Just a quick post to say Happy Easter! I hope you all got loads of chocolate and all had a great time!
As I mentioned in my last post, I spent Easter with my grandparents by the seaside and I took quite a few photos. Not many turned out very well but these were my favourites.
Sorry for such a short post - I haven't had much time to write a longer one but I will get one up soon!!!

Lip Product Love

So recently I have been obsessed with lip products. I never used to buy or wear anything on my lips other than a balm. But i am now a addict. I haven't done a beauty post in a while and so I thought I would share some of my favourite lip products I have tried.

So, let me explain....
Collection 2000 Cream Puff in Cotton Candy - probably my brightest lip product (I'm not one for bright lips - I'm not brave enough for them!)  but I do love it. It's a matte lip cream that applies as a lip gloss and dries as a lipstick. I tend to wear it more on special occasions and nights out, but if your more brave, its a gorgeous day shade too!
Barry M Lip gloss (colour rubbed of but similar called Strawberry Milkshake) - Love this so much, its not sticky and is a really subtle pinky-nude with a little bit of gold shimmer.
M&S Hello Kitty Lip gloss (please bear with me!) - You're probably wondering why this is here as things like this tend to be rubbish. I have included this because It is the only glittery lip gloss I have found where the glitter comes  out on your lips. It's actually beautiful and looks so pretty over lipstick or on its own
MUA Sheer Finish Gloss in Happy Days - this is a lovely sheer pink colour which is less shimmery than the Barry M one and slightly more pigmented. I can justify having them both, its OK ^_^
Accessorize Lip gloss in Dream - Another Lip gloss. I don't wear this that often, its just very pretty and therefore I justify it. Its a very pigmented , glossy almost holographic product and its is extremely pretty, on its own in particular.
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey (Shade 1) - This is amazing!!! It is by far and away my favourite and most used lip product. It is a little more expensive than I would usually pay but oh my, it is worth it. It's hard to describe so I would recommend going and swatching it! It is so so so pretty!
MUA Lipstick in Shade 4 - This is my favourite lipstick. It is so cheap and yet the quality is still fantastic. It has a lovely bubblegum pink colour pay-off (but not to pigmented so you look washed out) and just looks gorgeous. Love it.
Body Shop Born Lippy Tube in Pomegranate - This is my only red-tinted product but I wear it so much. I love that it just gives a subtle red tint, not to bright but just enough to look beautiful!
Body Shop Lip Balm Pots in Watermelon and Passionberry(fruit) - Theses are my favourite lip balms. They are super moisturising, make your lips so soft and they smell sooo good!!!  My fav is the watermelon one!

What are you favourite Lip products? Do you have any of the ones I have? Are they any you would particularly recommend?

I know these mini reviews aren't great but I hope maybe this has given you some ideas :). Hope you all had a good week! I am going away to my grandparents on Thursday so I will try to get a post up but apologies if I don't. I am back on Monday though! If I don't see you before then, Happy Easter! Hope you all get loads of chocolate!

Dress Layering

||  Jumper - H&M      Dress - H&M        Tights - Primark  ||
This outfit is almost entirely inspired by the lovely Florence at Beyond Imagination  who did a outfit post on layering dress . She look so pretty and made it look so beautiful and I though it was such a cute idea, so I decided to try it out for myself! This is the result and I quite like it. I hope you do too!
I have a few things to mention today.
First of all, I have found a new website. Any of you who follow/subscribe to Zoella may have heard her talk about a new site called WantWorthy. Out of interest, I went on it and am now addicted. It's basically a site where you can save all the items (it can be absolutely anything) to one place if you are when you are Internet shopping! I love this idea - I think its so clever and is almost something to rival Pinterest! But beware, it is a serious enabler and you will end up wanting and buying way to much!
Also, revisiting the Google Reader Disaster (as I am calling it), I think I have decided to use blog lovin' for now unless I find anything better (i will let you know!).I am still very annoyed that Google has just decided to take all our followers away from us, but there's not much to do than make the best of it. Please, if you are a new follower (or a existing one), as well as following via Google Friend Connect, could you please follow via Blog Lovin' to. If you don't have a account, it is super easy to set up, just click here

I hope you have all had a great week!
Lots of love

Just a quick post to say that it has been going around that Google Reader is going to be shutting down on 1st July. I don't know much about the internet but I looked up google reader and found that i don't use it, I view new posts on the blogger dashboard. I am not sure if the two are linked (I think they might be - Will the blogger dashboard go too? Let me know if you know) so just to be sure I have registered on Blog Lovin'. You will still be able to follow on Google Friend Connect to (Is this linked to google reader?) as well. I am now following all of the blogs I follow on GFC on blog lovin'. Your blog will probably be on Blog Lovin' , all you need to do it claim it.

You can follow me on Blog Lovin'  Here

You can import you blogs here

I will be adding links to the side bar to as soon as possible. If you have any more info about this Google Reader thingy, I would be most grateful because I am very confused. But everyone is putting themselves on Blog Lovin' so I am to. We've got 3 months to persuade Google to keep the Reader!

Outdoor Inspiration

So from the feed back you guys gave me, a lot of you said you want to see some photography. I did a post like this a while back but with pictures I found on Google. But This time I wanted to use my own snaps. I am only a amateur and you may have seen some before on blog buttons etc... so they are not amazing! But I hope you liked them!
It snowed... in march! This week (in my amazingly exciting life!), I was asked to write about my future ~angry face~ in English which meant one of my favourite lessons was ruined, I dis-owned one of my friends because they did not know who John Green was* (! XD) and I had to watch a horror film. But I survived. How was your week? I hope you all had a fantastic Mothers Day!

Lots of Love

P.s for some reson this post went back to a draft so it may come up in your feed again - Sorry!
*just to be clear, it was a joke - i'm not that mean! XD

DIY: How To Quickly Make A Blog Button

I know a lot of you have blog buttons already, but then again I know many of you don't. I took me so long to work out how to make one and I found it hard to find a simple tutorial. Therefore, so you don't have to suffer like I did, I present a step-by-step guide on how to successfully make your own button!
P.s When I say blog button, I mean a linked image that takes you to your site, not just an image on your side bar  ^_^
Step 1 - Using a photo editing site - I used Pic Monkey - upload and create you desired image. Don't forget to chose the size (from experiance, a lot of bloggers want it 250x so thats always a safe bet)

Step 2 - Upload this image onto a photo hosting site. I used Tiny Pic as I was very reliable to me (I may look a bit dodgey but its not!) and It gives you the perfect link. You will need the ' Direct Link For Layouts' - the bottom link.

Step 3 - You then want to go to You then want to type into the correct spaces, your blog name, URL and, in the box where it says 'Your Image URL', the link from Tiny Pic. You then want to chose the colour schemes, If you want to open a new window etc. That part is up to you. Then click preview.

Step 4 - Once you hit preview, you should be taken to a screen like the one below. Make sure it shows the correct image. Then click Get Code.  You should then end up with another box with the full code it. Highlight and copy this.

Step 5 - Then go to your blogger dashboard and click layout. You then want to click add gadget and then HTML/Javascript. Then paste your code.

Step 6 - Click save and then just to be sure, click save arrangement. Then view blog. It should look like this -

If it does, Congratulations! You have successfully made a blog button!

Just a things to add:
 - When you give others your code, you want to give them the one in the little box below your image, not the one you used.
- When you click on the button on your blog, it will not be linked. But when you give others it, it will be (hopefully). To check, just add the code in the little box to a new HTML gadget!

So there you have it! I hope this has helped some of you to make your own buttons and for those of you who have one already, maybe you will find this helpful to. Anyways, I hope this has helped someone. If you have any problems/questions, just let me know and I will do my best to help.  Hope you had a good week.

Lazy Sunday Bunny Love

|| Jumper - Forever 21      Vest Top - Primark       Burgundy Jeans - Topshop ||
Lazy Sunday outfit ♥ I've had this jumper a while and I wore it to death when I first got it, but I seem to have forgotten about it in the last few months. But I got it out again the other day and once again, I am in love. And I am in love with the jeans too.
Also, I only was wondering if you friends could give me a bit of feedback? What are your favourite kinds of posts to read? Are there any posts you would like to see? - Reviews, DIY, Photography? I am interested in knowing what you guys like ♥ !
I  recently went to see Life Of Pi (really late, I know) and it was amazing! If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it! Next on my list; Beautiful Creatures! Hope you had a good week ^_^.
Lots Of Love
